The story so far

So far we have fought off the Kobold infestation that threatens Winterhaven. Ambush and defense seem to be poor tactics for the lowly kobold scum. Their goblin overlords however, are holed up in the Keep on the Shadowfell.Which is going to prove to be a tougher nut to crack.

After the party returned to Winterhaven, they felt and noticed a gloom that dominates the city, and they each have dreams and visions of a castle on a hill. After talking to Valthrun they take up the centuries old fight against the cult of Orcus that has re-emerged to bring darkness to the light. 

The first floor has yielded gritty fights with goblins and drakes, as well as the Goblin leader, Belgron the Fat (who got his neck cut for his poorly timed nap). Perhaps deeper delving will produce more clues to the Rift that the party has sworn to close at the request of Valthrun the Prescient (and all that is good and right in the world).

Today's Game

Today we're going to pick up where we left off.

Belgron the Fat got his face stabbed by an excedingly quiet rogue. After his death gasp, the players turned to see a wide eyed goblin warrior shut back the curtain and run- screaming "RED ALERT!"

 

We'll start there and see how much the PCs can find out about the rift that is tormenting the city of Winterhaven (and possibly more).
